Mentoring

Greetings:

It is late and my eyes are heavy with sleep, out of necessity, I will keep this short.

Tomorrow's meeting (8/15/09) will be held at the Gathering Place, Center & F St., Lakeview, @ 10 a.m. Worship--we are going to have a glorious time in the Lord! Rita Anne and Charlee Coleman will each have their keyboards, Jim on the bass guitar, Phil on the electric guitar, I believe Omi will be there on drums, Tristan on trumpet, and Pam W. will be adding her beautiful voice to those on the team.

The final dream interpretation class will be held tomorrow (8/15/09) from 10 to 10:30. If you have a dream you would like to have interpreted, you are invited to bring it.

Are your lamps filled and trimmed for the coming of the Lord? I am preparing to minister a series of messages centering around the End Times. Some of the topics include:

By His Grace and according to His Word, we will see demonstrations of the Lord's amazing power through healings and miracles, signs and wonders during these services.

If you or someone you know is in need of a healing miracle, we have found that reading and reflecting upon the Scriptures and reading healing and miracle testimonies increases faith and is an effective way to prepare to receive a miracle from the Lord. "Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of the Lord." "Through faith and patience" our forefathers "inherited the promises." What is the promise? "You shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover."

We believe in miracles and have witnessed the Lord heal and perform great things in many lives. Come expecting.

Greetings:

We have a few slots in our schedule for the Summer and Fall and we would be delighted to serve in any way you might have need of.

Some ideas...Healing School (healing & deliverance equipping. A great way for people to increase in faith for the miraculous, understanding of miracles, and how to minister in healing/deliverance. During which, we expect the Lord of Miracles to be with us and therefore, we expect miracles, signs and wonders from the Lord. Prophetic (including teaching on hearing the Lord, dreams, visions, biblical ecstatic experiences with the Lord, words of knowledge), and the Basics of the Christian Walk (Basic Training for Kingdom Reigning).

Ministry in Lakeview--The Intensity of His Presence

Because of the intensity of the Lord's Presence, our meetings in Lakeview have been absolutely remarkable--so much so that I and some on our team have thought that it may be the Lord's will for more services to be held. We will be seeking God's direction. In the meantime, always, we have a great longing for each service...the reason for the longing is that by His amazing grace, the Lord is among us.

The fruit of which is salvations, healings, miracles, Christian men and women are receiving a fresh fire for the things of God, and it seems that we are all being immersed into His Presence.. Oh, I can hardly wait for Saturday!

Come and see and experience for yourself what the Lord is doing in Lakeview.

During a recent service that we conducted in Lakeview, a young lady made a confession of her faith in Jesus, received His gift of salvation, and became "Born Again." Later, this same girl turned to me with wide-eyes of wonder to share that she had "felt the Lord." Indeed, by His grace, during our services many report having been "touched," by the Lord or "filled with His Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18).

"The things that are impossible with man are possible with God" (Luke 18:27).

Over the years, we have witnessed the truth of the above passage of Scripture. After seeing so many healed by God's power, through the Name of Jesus, we can heartily say...Nothing is impossible with God. When He is present what was impossible suddenly becomes possible. Such as, when the Lord healed Tule's broken back and when he healed Tim's deafness.

We have been witnesses of His power. Many miracles have taken place for which we give the Lord much thanks and all praise (Mark 15:19).

Great things are happening in Lakeview. Each and every service is an opportunity for someone to receive a miracle. We look so forward to each service and to what the Lord will do. With God, all things are possible.

Join us for these life-changing times in the Presence of the Lord.

Summer Service Schedule:
Date: June 20th, July 11th, July 25th, August 1st, August 15th, September 19th.

Time: 10 a.m.

Location: The Gathering Place (Center & F St., Lakeview, Oregon 97630).

If you are coming from out of town and need accommodations, let us know and we can see if a room is available in a home or recommend a hotel.

Mini-Workshops: Our services begin promptly @ 10 a.m. with a half hour equipping workshop. The two summer workshops are: Dream Interpretation taught by RitaAnne Poorman and Prophetic Evangelism taught by Donna Newcombe (this prophetic evangelism, "Treasure Hunting" is what Bethel in Redding teaches/offers). Feel free to join the workshops at any time in the series. They are fairly complete in themselves.

Everyone is welcome, there is no fee to attend.

Sitting in a chair in the doctor's office, I waited for the results of a test. Dressed in a white lab coat, the doctor walked in. At the time, I was a college student. I had been working very hard to fulfill the goals I had of obtaining a degree in education with a secondary degree in sign language studies.

The doctor pulled up a chair. "Your test came back positive," she announced. There wasn't a hint of feeling, not even a trace of emotion as she went on to offer me options, "At this point, the fetus is not a baby; it is a blob of protozoa. If you are not ready to become a parent, an abortion is an option."

Her words stung. Her unfeeling composure troubled me. It all seemed surreal. I felt as if I were far away watching a physician dressed in a long, white lab coat speaking with indifference to someone else, but, no, she was speaking to me. Never had I expected a doctor to speak of an unborn child in such dispensable terms.

The following month, I made an appointment with a new doctor at a Catholic Hospital (where they do not perform abortions). My new doctor, Dr. Adams did not even once suggest that the fetus inside was anything other than a baby. Her philosophy was, "You and your husband are going to be parents. And, I am here to help you have a healthy pregnancy and baby."

That was many years ago. Today, we have three beautiful children. Each one is special, unique and very capable of making a big difference in the world. I could tell you nice things about each one. But, let me tell you about the child who the doctor suggested that I abort.

We loved him before he was ever born and we joyfully prepared for his arrival. On that much longed for day, Travis arrived with wide and hungry eyes. It was as if he was visually drinking in his surroundings. When my husband placed our new born in my arms, I was enraptured with the most amazing emotions of great joy and all-consuming love.

We have enjoyed every season in his life. Baby-hood, toddler-hood, the "Terrible Twos," even his teenage years were delightful years. Today, Travis lives on his own, works full time, has a busy social life, but still makes time for his parents and siblings. And, boy do we ever cherish our visits with him. He is caring, funny, intelligent, generous, thoughtful, hard-working, knowledgable, and he has strong values. He is a remarkable young man!

All of our children have been great blessings to our family for which we thank the Lord. "Blobs of protozoa?" I hardly think so. "Behold, children are a gift of the LORD, The fruit of the womb is a reward" (Psalm 127:3).
